I managed to install photoshop without any inconvenience however I need to have the ability to install custom fonts (how do you do that?)

For fonts go to your Photoshop bottle, click the 3 dots, Browser files, Go to Windows / Fonts. Place all your fonts inside here.
This also works the same for adding in brushes or .ASL effects.
