I’m trying to run galaxy slicer, which both that and it’s predecessor orca slicer come as portable apps for Windows (so no installer). I tried just selecting the exe to no effect, I even gave bottles access to a folder in my home directory via flatseal but it still won’t launch. I can drag the portable app into the bottle’s folder structure but pop!_os’ file explorer will not let me select files in hidden directories.
I’m out of ideas on how to get this app to work within the bottle so maybe someone has any inclination on how I can make the portable app work? I know most open-source slicers have a linux version but galaxy slicer doesn’t as of yet and I don’t want to have to try and make a build script for it
