Error installing Wwise via a launcher from within bottles

I installed the AudioKinetic Launcher via Bottles, and from within that launcher I tried to install Wwise. I got the following error:

Installation failed. Error installing prerequisites:
"Error: [1488:0627/215229.437:ERROR:network_change_notifier_win.cc(143)]
WSALookupServiceBegin failed with: 0
[1720:0627/215230.283:ERROR:network_change_notifier_win.cc(143)]
WSALookupServiceBegin failed with: 0"

There is an option to open log, but I get an error saying Windows has no program configured to open that type of file. I don’t know how to set a program to read the log file, and I also don’t know where the log file is located, otherwise I would try to open it manually.

Still unsolved but found some new info.

• The launcher is running in Crossover and it might be an electron app. There are wine files in the contents.
• The issue is the same across other computers that run OpenSUSE. I have yet to check with other distros, and I have yet to try it on a VM.
• Trying to run the launcher with Proton via steam encounters an error at the same spot, but the error message is slightly different:
  Installation failed. Error installing prerequisites. "Error: Command failed: "C:\users\steamuser\Temp\WwiseLauncher\runAsAdmin.lnk" Can't recognize '"C:\users\steamuser\Temp\WwiseLauncher\runAsAdmin.lnk"' as an internal or external command, or batch script."
• I found the log file that shows the full error, but it doesn’t look like files can be uploaded here.
