I have two computers running on mini PCs. One is running Pop OS and works fine with Bottles and the Hik Central, Hikvision CCTV software. However, on Fedora on another machine, it doesn’t work. The program loads, but when it comes to actually streaming video, it doesn’t work.
Could this be a Fedora codecs thing? In both cases, Bottles is running in a Flatpak. Does the sandbox and/or Wine contain things like video codecs I wonder? Or will it end up trying to use them from the system?
I’m wondering if I need to install video codec RPMs or something?
